Rachel & Shane – Monterey Bay
Tarpy’s Roadhouse Restaurant – Monterey
Rachel and Shane had their awesome wedding at Monterey’s Tarpy’s Roadhouse Restaurant, a truly unique establishment sitting on 5 acres of picturesque grounds that include towering palms, a pond, and gardens.
Built in 1917, the restaurant is one of the most photogenic locales, complete with stone arch, rocky facades, romantic bench, wrought-iron cafe-style furniture and lots of wonderful charming details.
Another interesting note about Rachel and Shane’s wedding is that they elected to have a mid-morning ceremony, immediately followed by a lunch reception and dance party.
What that meant was at around 3pm, Rachel and Shane were able to speed off in their red Mustang getaway car.
Where did they go off to?
To their after-session at the Monterey beach where Shane proposed.
How romantic is that?
Thus, the coverage we provided included:
- preparation shots
- pre-ceremony portraits of families and wedding party
- big group portraits
- reception candids, including speeches, dances, cake, bouquet and garter tosses
- and a 2-3 hour after-session with just the two of them
Add Tarpy’s Roadhouse Restaurant to our “Favorite Venues to Shoot a Wedding In” list!
