The Wedding CeremonyThe Wedding Ceremony
If flash is NOT allowed, it might be worthwhile to include a cautionary note in your wedding invitations, especially if you expect non-professional "paparazzi" to attend. A professional photographer will be prepared for non-flash photography, having on hand a stable of "fast" lenses which will be attached to bodies capable of high ISO settings. (If this sounds too technical, don't worry; Dave can explain it to you when you meet.) Another thing to consider is that some officiants may choose to limit the movement of the photographer (most likely due to the actions of a previously rude photographer). The truly professional photographer will always be respectful of the sanctity of the church, and will do his or her best to remain as unobtrusive as possible. When you meet with the professional photographer to discuss your wedding, be sure to describe which venue you have selected, what, if any, limitations will be in place, and what you expect to happen during the ceremony. This will allow the professional photographer to correctly plan for the ceremony, as well as be ready to capture anything special, such as a readings. |
