About Dave Wong
I have been a storyteller since I was 9, when I first laid pencil to paper, drawing helicopters and other machines from library books. Two years later in the 6th grade was when I learned perspective (one-point, two-point, three-point perspective) and rudimentary figure drawing.
A year later found myself an avid comic book reader, and thus began summers of producing my own comic books.
That love of storytelling has never wavered, resulting in a degree in Film Studies from UC Berkeley.
Today I’m a San Francisco based Wedding Photographer who shoots all over the Bay Area and Northern California, capturing and retelling the stories of my clients through photography.
My diverse background, from drawing my first comic book to studying some of the greatest films of all time, is perfect for capturing your wedding day with artful images.
I’m neither a “photojournalist” nor “traditionalist” photographer, but rather, a STORYTELLER.

Wedding Commissions
My standard package starts at $3500 + CA Tax, and includes:
- a full day of coverage by myself
- online gallery
- 24-sided custom-designed flushmount “magazine style” album
- digital negatives
- complimentary engagement session
Other packages either takes away the album or adds extra things like parent albums, slideshows, prints, etc.
